*feel free to re-post where appropriate

"Beyond Words: clarity and intuition practices for listening and communication": This class is designed to provide tools, exercises, and practices that enable an individual to creatively use their own abilities of intuition to navigate listening and communication within their relationships and specifically within relationships that have an element of a power dynamic (D/s and M/s relationships). Ever wanted to be able to listen from a place of clarity and stillness, and respond from a place of clarity and not react from old patterns? We will explore the basics of intuition, developing intuition, ways of listening, practices around listening and shifting how we hear people. We also look into what it is to communicate, ways of communication, clear communication practices, and looking at the masks and ways we "play" with different dynamics and how to best communicate from those roles we choose to play with. This is a great class for couples.

Arielle Webb is a queer Leather Dyke and self-identified faerie critter. She has been active in leather communities since 2003 and has taught classes for Screw Up, Youth Gender Project, GenderBlast, the SF Citadel, the Journeyman's Academy, Society of Janus, SM Oddysey, and the Wet Spot in Seattle. She discovered her path of service in 2004 and is currently apprenticing in Toltec Shamanism with various teachers on her path towards awareness and awakening. Her passions and inspirations are the merging of BDSM and spiritual worlds to create openings for transformation and awakening with play, fun, love, and joy.

I am working on a limited budget (like everyone I know...) planning printed ads, news events for the launch, VIP tours, etc but am really not sure about what the "best practices" are for internet publicity?

Any ideas?

Thank you, Kent Sessions

Energy Work Class! (June 16,17)

John Evans is teaching:

POWER OF CHI

Saturday and Sunday, June 16th and 17th
11am -6pm
Temple of Light, Redwood City, CA
To register contact Angel Light Books:
650-780-9900

Investment: $333
Deposit $100.00, RSVP by Saturday June 9th

This modality is the foundation of all energy healing,
harnessing all the powers of creation. It is pure energy
healing of the physical body utilizing the oldest of methods.

Physical illness and pain are caused long term emotional
trauma and physical accidents. Unless properly treated and
released, the body atrophies and pain is locked into the very cells of the body, often for years.

This first level Energy Healing helps you to
effectively target and remove these energies from the
etheric layer of the aura as well as in the deep level of
the physical body. This releases these old energies
quickly and completely allowing the body to heal
naturally and eliminating most of the pain
immediately.

Removing these negative energies allows the client to
move forward with a healthier and happier life.

This class is a must for any healer!

JOHN EVANS is an initiated Guide member and 3rd step Ritual Master within the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Light. He is a Magus Hermeticus and the Etheric Surgery Master for the United States. A published author and accomplished teacher, he travels the United States and Internationally to share his teachings. His intensive spiritual studies also focus on the individual and how one finds the strength to overcome fears, emotional attachments and mental attachments so that everyone may experience life with the greatest joy and in complete fullness.

Rosen Method at Esalen Institute, March 10-12

Rosen Method: Accessing the Unconscious through Touch

Marion Rosen’s vision of Rosen Method Bodywork and Movement has brought her recognition as an international leader and originator in the field of body-oriented therapies. At the heart of her wisdom is her keen sense of seeing the true essence of people that has often been hidden underneath chronic holding patterns. She has spend her life exploring these unconscious places through delicate touch. At 91 years old, she continues to inspire and energize others with her work. During her career as a physical therapist and health educator, she developed her unique approach to bodywork, movement, and self-transformation by observing the process of her patients.

The group process that this workshop provides supports the opening to feelings that have long been put away as muscular tension. Rosen Method Movement helps you integrate feelings and physical changes that come up. The movements help you to remain vital and joyful while moving to music. We will explore how both modalities complement each other and emerge from the same theory.
